Upstairs, Seel is a New York-inspired restaurant, bar and grill — taking its cues from the great dining rooms of Manhattan. Confident cooking, generous plates, proper cocktails and a room designed for long lunches, late dinners and everything in between. Downstairs, Slater changes the pace. A darker, more intimate bar inspired by the cocktail lounges of mid-century New York, built around classic drinks, good music and late nights. The influence is unmistakably New York, but this isn’t an imitation. Seel & Slater takes the confidence, hospitality and energy of the city and gives it a Liverpool point of view. Two streets. Seel
Located upstairs at Seel & Slater, Seel is our New York-inspired restaurant, bar and grill, taking its cues from the great Italian-American dining rooms of Manhattan. Expect prime cuts from the grill, seafood, handmade pasta and generous Italian-American classics, accompanied by great wines and classic cocktails. Polished without the formality, Seel is made for long lunches, lively dinners and evenings that carry on beyond the final plate.
Slater
Coming Late November
New York after dark. Liverpool underneath. Downstairs at Seel & Slater, Slater is an intimate cocktail bar and lounge inspired by the bars and late-night rooms of 1940s New York. Low lighting, great music and a drinks list built around properly made classics create a space designed for settling in rather than passing through. Expect Martinis, Manhattans, Old Fashioneds and timeless cocktails alongside wines, spirits and a considered social sharing menu. Sophisticated but never stiff, Slater is somewhere for pre-dinner drinks, late nights and one more round. A little hidden, deliberately understated and made for after dark.
